The Coast Guard reported that the two missing boaters from Namaluk, Chuuk were found by a Good Samaritan fishing vessel from Japan.
The boaters were found at 600am this morning at a location approximately 22 miles NW of Namaluk.
The boaters were found in good health. Just tired and hungry.
The Coast Guard is working with the Chuuk National Office to schedule a transport to retrieve the boaters from the rescue vessel.
Namaluk has been updated. They have also been advised to go over boating safety suggestions and to watch high surf weather advisories.
