Removal Huawei from Palau's telecom infrastructure

Last year I declared that I become a kingmaker for President Surangel Whipps. After he became the Presindent, I have been cheering his radical foreign and domestic political activities.

Palau, a small country with a population of 20,000, is getting the huge attention of the world and is reforming its corrupt society of the past. Unfortunately, this corrupt structure has been created by the Japanese, as I wrote in the New Year 2021 issue of "Monthly Seiron".

Now, the President's Press Conference is held regularly, and while I can hardly understand the Palauan language, Japanese and English are also spoken, I can understand some things by listening to the proceedings.

The Press Conference this time was a report on the return from the United States visit of the security team led by the President, and I listened to it thinking that the important things would not come out.

When I read that "experts" who know nothing about Pacific island countries, communications or security are writing about a second submarine communications cable being laid in Palau with the support of the US, Japan and Australia, I want to cover my eyes. This is the subject of my first PhD dissertation and I have been involved in the field for over 20 years.

Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs is very much under the misapprehension that the previous Palau government was distancing itself from the CCP government, but it had incorporated Huawei into its mobile network - heart of telecom infrustructure, ie security of the Nation.

It was disclosed by Presindet Whipps, that Palau had received US$2.6million from the US Department of the Interior to remove it.

This is another thing I wrote about in the Monthly Seiron, and the editorial staff didn't trust me, but the Chinese mafia had entered Palau and were running an online casino. They may still be doing it, and we can't rule out the possibility that Huawei was coordinating their activities.

Wan Kuok-koi of the Triad, who was sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury Department under the Magnitsky Act at the December 2020, is now in mainland China, running a restaurant and resort business than ever before, and even said to be proud of the U.S. sanctions.
