中国の植民地、ニセコ（９）
ニセコを植民しているのは香港資本であった。そしてそのリーダーは李嘉誠。日本軍の占領で広州を逃げ、香港で叩き上げた「超人」である。アジア一の金持ちで世界の経済を動かしている。その次男のリチャード・リーが東京駅丸の内とニセコを植民している。その二つは新幹線で結ばれている。
今回のニセコ訪問は滞在費がただだったので帰りは行ったことのない函館で２泊して新幹線で東京まで戻ったがこれがまさに香港資本を呼び寄せているインフラなのだ。
中国の進出、と一言で言っても李嘉誠は習近平体制に大人しく従っている様子でもない。
私がニセコに関心を持つきっかけとなった三合会、サンシティはどんな位置にあるのか？どうやら香港資本と犯罪組織はセットになっている、そんな気がしてきた。
香港の貧困の格差は激しいらしい。財閥をなす家族は犯罪者に「よく」誘拐され身代金を要求される。「警察に言ったらただじゃすまさないぞ！」とでも言われるのか、届出がないケースも多いらしい。実は李嘉誠がそうであった。
1996年長男の李澤鉅、ビクター・リーが誘拐された。犯人は李家に乗り込み、10億3800万香港ドル(140億円)を要求。李嘉誠は、これだけ有名人になったのに護衛もつけなかった事を素直に反省し、すぐに現金を用意。長男は無事かすり傷もなく解放されたと言う。
その時の李嘉誠と犯人張子強のやり取りが面白い。李嘉誠が身代金で投資をしたらどうかと犯人にアドバイスする。しかし張子強らはマカオのカジノですぐにスってしまったらしい。中には身代金を奥さんがケチり、誘拐されたご主人は半死の目にあって不幸な運命を辿る富豪家族もいたようだ。金持ちでなくてよかった・・
三合会の学術的研究は200年前のロンドンミッショナリーからあるが、この「みかじめ料」ビジネスが基本のようだ。中国、政府が人々の面倒を見るという歴史がなかった。彼らを守るのが犯罪組織、と言うことだ。で、あればニセコに香港資本と三合会がセットで入っているのではないか？と考えるようになった。

The colonizer of Niseko was Hong Kong capital. And its leader was Li Ka-shing. He is a "superman" who fled Guangzhou due to the Japanese occupation and made a success in Hong Kong. He is the richest man in Asia and runs the world economy. His second son, Richard Li, colonizes Tokyo Station Marunouchi and Niseko. The two are connected by the Shinkansen bullet train.
Since my visit to Niseko was free, I stayed two nights in Hakodate, which I had never visited before, and took the Shinkansen back to Tokyo.
In a word, Chinese expansion is complicated. Li Ka-shing does not seem to be quietly following Xi Jinping's regime.
What is the position of Suncity, the Triad that triggered my interest in Niseko? Apparently, Hong Kong capital and criminal organizations are a set, or so I have come to think.
I heard that the divide in poverty in Hong Kong is severe. Families that make up conglomerates are "often" kidnapped by criminals and held for ransom. "If you tell the police, we won't let you off scot-free!” Such was the case with Li Ka-shing.
In 1996, the eldest son, Victor Li, aka Li Ze Hui, was kidnapped. The criminal got into the Li residence and demanded HK$1.038 billion (14 billion yen). Li Ka-shing honestly reflected on the fact that they did not even have an guard after becoming such a celebrity, and immediately prepared the cash. His eldest son was released without a scratch.
The exchange between Li Ka-shing and the criminal Zhang Zhiqiang at that time is interesting. Li Ka-shing advised the criminal to invest the ransom money to his company. However, Zhang Ziqiang and the other criminals apparently quickly lost their money at a casino in Macau. Some of the wealthy family members seemed to have an unfortunate fate: the wife was stingy with the ransom money, and the kidnapped husband was half-dead. Lucky I'm not a rich family...
There have been academic studies of Triad by the London Missionary about 200 years ago, and this "miserly protection" business seems to be the foundation of the Triad. China, the government has never had a history of taking care of its people. It is the criminal organizations that protect them. If this is the case, Hong Kong capital and Triad are in Niseko as a set. I began to think.
