The 10th Micronesian Presidential Summit The 10th Micronesian Presidential Summit was held in Palau, on the 30th July 2010.
This meeting is important for the Sasakawa’s Micronesian sea surveillance initiative. Since we start the project upon to the decision and request from the 8th Presidential Summit in 2008.
If we are asked about legitimacy of our activities, this summit is the foundation and reason. This new Micronesian regional cooperation movement has been started around 2000, with purely local initiative. I also would like to point that the 10th summit invited Nauru and Kiribati as first time. See communique of 8 to 10th Summit.
