3月7日に開催されたミクロネシア連邦の選挙結果が改めて大統領オフィスから発信された。
ミクロネシア連邦は４つの州がある。パヌエロ大統領はポナペ州で落選した。
メディアが次期大統領はポナペで多数の票を獲得したピーター・クリスチャンであろう、と書かれていたので目の前が真っ暗になっていたが、どうもこのメディアはミクロネシア連邦に４州あることを知らなかったのではないか？
