本日よりウィップス大統領が日本入りし、岸田首相に面談します。記事には直行便就航を要請とありますが是非岸田首相には実現に向けて動いていただきたい！そして 昨年パラオ国家安全保障局が策定した国家安全保障戦略も基づき要請している日本との海洋安全保障協力の法的枠組みを進めていただきたい！
直行便に関しては既に台湾、韓国、あまり書きたくないがマカオから直行便がパラオに飛んでいます。韓国はこれからの様子ですがサイパンへの直行便が正式に決定しています。
なぜ日本だけ動かないのか？

さて、パラオは中国マフィアの三合会が数千の規模で入り込むほどの危険な状態でしたし、現在も三桁の数で潜伏していることは大統領が公表したリストからも確認できます。2020年に前大統領が米国軍のプレゼンスを要請し、米国のEsper防衛大臣の訪問もあった背景には中国の軍事的脅威だけではなく、三合会の存在もありました。
ウィップス政権で国家安全保障局を設置した背景でもあります。独立で揺れるパプアニューギニアのブーゲンヴィルの状況を近々書きますが、三合会と中国の軍、法執行機関は繋がっています。
